Jesus answered him, “Truly, I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again.” (John 3:3). In these words lies a radical truth: it is not enough to know religiosity or to observe rituals; it is necessary to experience an inner metamorphosis that only God accomplishes by granting us new life. “Being born again” implies a leap from the human to the divine, where God’s grace takes the initiative and introduces us into life in Christ. When we are born again, the change is not limited to our external acts, but extends to our desires, motivations, and relationships. A process of growth in God’s truth, mercy, and justice begins, so that we may walk by the Spirit and not by the flesh.
If you ask, “What does it mean to be born again?” just look to the cross and the resurrection: it is to accept the grace that breaks chains, to renounce the ego, and to embrace the will of God. It is saying yes to a life of faith that trusts in Christ, seeks holiness in obedience, feeds on the Word, and relies on daily grace. Receive, then, that new identity and walk in the light that Jesus offers; may this awakening give you courage to live according to the kingdom of God today, with firm hope and joy in the Lord.
