The wisdom sown from childhood: confidence in Christ

From childhood, you have been taught the Holy Scriptures, which have given you wisdom to receive the salvation that comes by trusting in Christ Jesus.

Chosen from childhood, we understand that God's grace is manifested in that early development of faith: a seed that grows not by our merit, but by the fidelity of the Father who calls and unites. When we remember these truths, we respond in obedience, not as a force of our own effort, but as a response of gratitude to the gift of salvation offered to us in Christ. The passage invites us to remain in the infancy of the faith that God honors, cherishing the truth entrusted to us and making every day an opportunity to trust more in Him who chose us.

The spiritual education received from childhood points to the heart of the Christian life: trusting in Christ Jesus for salvation. Amid trials and decisions, the seed of the Word continues to bear fruit when we embrace it with humility, remembering that our salvation does not depend on what we do, but on what He already did. May the trust born in childhood be strengthened into maturity, to live in obedience and joy before the Lord who chose us, preserving us by His grace.

May this reminder be an encouragement for today: that God continues to sustain His chosen ones from childhood, strengthening faith so that we remain firm and confident in Christ. Let us press on with hope, knowing that salvation is a sure gift in God's grace, and that every step of faith honors the Author of our life.
