The Sovereignty of God and the Confidence in Perfect Justice

It is not from the East nor from the West, nor is it from the desert in the south, or from the mountains in the north, that the victory comes. It is God who judges: He brings one down and exalts another! The Lord holds in his hand a cup, the wine of which foams, full of mixture; he gives it to drink, and all the wicked of the earth must drink it down to the last drop. In light of this truth, we are called to recognize that justice belongs to the Lord and that He acts in perfect time. As we wait, our breath should be marked by integrity, by faithfulness, and by the confidence that God knows what to do.

Do not worry about proving your worth to everyone or about taking vengeance on those who harmed you. Biblical truth calls us to maintain integrity even in situations of injustice, reminding us that God is the perfect judge who observes the heart and actions. Our role is to do our part with righteousness, to be honest in every word, in every gesture, and to trust that the time to act belongs to the Lord. He raises up and brings low, according to His wisdom and mercy.

In dealing with those who hurt us, offer forgiveness in practice and prayer, recognizing that vengeance does not belong to us but to God. The psalms assure us that even when we are offended, we can rest in the Lord’s justice, which judges with uprightness and love. I urge you to hold fast to your integrity, to seek God’s will in every decision, and to trust that He, in His time, will bring full justice and reveal His path for you to follow with courage, faith, and peace, for the Lord cares for every detail of our story.
