Serving God: fidelity born from the circumcision of the heart

In Exodus 4:24-26, we see a God who confronts, Moses who goes through a test of faith, and Zipporah who responds with a radical act of obedience. The scene reveals that serving God is not reduced to words or grand schemes, but to a surrender that touches the depths of the heart and the covenant. The human heart repeatedly needs God to heal us and point out the signs of His covenant so we can serve freely, without hypocrisy or pride, knowing that the faithfulness that pleases God is manifested in acts of obedience that pass through the recognition of our weakness and the grace that restores.
