Rise Up in Christ: the freedom that heals and liberates

Andrielly C.

Before Jesus confronting hypocrisy, we are invited to understand that true obedience is not mere liturgy, but liberation that transforms. When He confronts tradition that diverts from compassionate care, we are challenged to rise, act, and live the freedom that has already been won for us by grace.

We are free because Christ broke the chains of sin and death. Luke 13 reminds us that the mercy of the Lord is not limited to rituals, but pours out into the life of those in need, especially the prisoners. Each day, we are called to recognize that healing, liberation, and restoration are already available in Jesus, who does not fail to hear the cry of the afflicted.

Jesus frees the woman trapped for years by shame and pain, revealing that grace is not only a future promise, but a present reality that renews courage, breaks prisons, and restores dignity. When the dream seems distant, the power of Jesus acts to tear away what binds us, alignment our story with the divine purpose and writing new possibilities.

Therefore, rise up by faith, trust in the solution that is Christ, and walk knowing that forgiveness has already come to set us free. Even amid adversities, the promise that the dream will be realized calls us to persevere in prayer, to seek the presence of God, and to remain steadfast in the hope that the new life, in the one who already set us free, manifests each day.
