As we reflect pastorally, we can see in Genesis 1:2 an invitation to sanctify our anxiety: to recognize our inability to bring order with our own strength and to depend on the moving of the Spirit. The Christian practice, then, is a discipline of intermittent surrender — making space for the Word, waiting for the creative breath, and responding with obedience when the light dawns. May this movement of God over the waters inspire our daily life: to seek His presence, cultivate the faith that transforms, and face each day with a hopeful confidence that, by His grace, chaos can be turned into a home of peace.
