In 1 Corinthians 2:10, Paul reminds us that it is the Holy Spirit who reveals to us the depths of God. This shows us that truly knowing the Lord is not just a matter of intelligence, accumulation of knowledge, or human effort, but, above all, an act of divine revelation, a gift that comes from God Himself.
Just as no one can know what is in another person's mind unless they express it, we also do not have access, on our own, to the thoughts of the Lord. We need Him to reveal Himself. It is the Spirit of God who "translates" for our hearts what comes from heaven, making understandable what would otherwise be unreachable.
Without this gracious action of the Spirit, the Bible becomes a difficult, distant, and often complicated book. God's will begins to seem confusing, and the Christian life risks being reduced to a simple set of rules, customs, and obligations that weigh on our shoulders, instead of expressing a living relationship with the Father.
But when the Holy Spirit acts in us, the same Word that seemed cold and distant comes to life and speaks directly to our hearts. It becomes clear, powerful, and deeply personal, revealing God's will with precision and leading us to a Christian walk full of meaning, direction, and intimacy with the Lord.
