It was evening and it was morning, the fifth day of creation; a liturgy of clarity in which God reveals his power by creating seas, lands, lights, and creatures. In this passage we observe that everything was formed with order and purpose, and just as the cosmos was traced by the divine word, our lives also find meaning when we recognize the Creator in every detail that surrounds us. Our heart, then, must learn to contemplate with gratitude what was given to us before we fully entered his kingdom, remembering that every element of creation is a demonstration of his love and faithfulness.

We not only admire the works, but respond in action: to recognize God as the Author of all that is good, confess our limitations, and depend on his grace to live each day. May our life be a testimony of joy and hope, knowing that God continues to work for his glory and that, through faith in Christ, we can live in obedience, patient effort, and active love toward others.
