In the beginning, when everything was silent and darkness covered the face of the abyss, the Word already existed. This Word, which is Jesus Christ, was not only with God but also was God. As we reflect on this truth, we are invited to understand that Jesus transcends time and space; He is not limited by our human definitions of past, present, or future. His presence has always been, and will always be, a testimony of His divinity and His love for us. This creative Word is not a mere abstraction, but the essence of who God is, and it is through Him that all creation came into existence. Everything we see, from the stars in the sky to the simplest grain of sand, was created by Him and for Him, which leads us to a deep reverence and gratitude for His perfect work.
In light of this revelation, we must remember the central role of Jesus in our lives and in creation. When the Scriptures affirm that 'all things were made through Him,' we are confronted with the reality that nothing is accidental or without purpose. Every detail of creation, every beat of our hearts, every breath we take, is a testimony of His work. As humans, we often find ourselves in a cycle of worries and anxieties, forgetting that the Creator of all things is by our side. The reality that He is timeless and always present gives us the assurance that we are not alone in our struggles. Jesus not only created all things but also cares for us and our lives.
The relationship between Jesus and God is one of the deepest and most transformative truths of the Christian faith. When we say that 'Jesus is God and God is Jesus,' we affirm that there is no separation in the divine essence. This means we can fully trust in Him, for He is the manifestation of God's love and grace for humanity. In moments of doubt or questioning about the nature of God, we can look to Jesus and see the character of the Father revealed in His life and ministry. He is the light that illuminates our path, the truth that guides our decisions, and the life that sustains our existence. As we draw near to Him, we are transformed and renewed, and we find the purpose for which we were created.
Finally, as men, we are challenged to live in the light of this truth. Participating in a Ugroup, for example, is an excellent way to strengthen our faith and share experiences with other brothers. As we study the Word together and reflect on who Jesus is, we are encouraged to live in a way that glorifies God and manifests His love to the world. Remember, the Word that was in the beginning is the same that is with us today, guiding and supporting us. May we, each day, remember the greatness of Christ and how much He cares for us. He is our strength and hope, and with Him, we can face any challenge. Do not give up; the journey of faith is filled with blessings and discoveries, and He is always with us.
