Christ, the Word that Sustains the Cosmos

God has spoken throughout human history: through the prophets, through the fathers, to reveal to us his plan little by little. In these last days, He speaks to us through His Son, the heir of all things, the cause of creation and the manifestation of God's glory. This revelation is not an abstract idea, but a person, Jesus Christ, in whom the nature of God is reflected exactly and who holds every atom with the word of His power. By beholding Christ, we learn that life does not depend on our efforts but on the faithfulness of the One who created the universe.

The Son is the radiance of the glory of God and the exact representation of His being. In Him we know the divine character: a love that has become closeness, a wisdom that has become word, a grace that has become redemption. After purifying our sins, He sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high, much more worthy than the angels and with a name superior to theirs. When we look to Jesus, we are not seeking distant ideas, but a reality that transforms our existence, a center that guides every decision, every relationship, every ordinary task.

Through His work, the purification of sins, the Son stands as the only sure foundation of our hope and obedience. Our life must be rooted in the person of Christ, who sustains all things with the word of His power. May this picture of glory fill us with reverence and a faith that does not depend on circumstances, but on the faithfulness of the One who made the universe and sat on the throne on high. May each day, in our trials and responsibilities, we seek the direction of the One who, by communicating His love and His power, calls us to live for His glory and to await His kingdom with confidence.
