When God Names Your Heavens

In Genesis 1:8 we read that God called the expanse "heavens," and that it was evening and morning of the second day. In a world still in formation, God was already bringing order, separating, defining, and naming each element of His creation.

Nothing was left to chance in His hands: each thing received a place and a purpose. Even what may seem small or secondary to us was part of an intentional and wise design.

What may seem to us just a detail of the creation narrative is for God a declaration of His orderly and faithful character. He is not a God of confusion, but of perfect harmony and meaning.

Likewise, in your life, God has not only given you existence; He desires to give you direction, identity, and a clear purpose. His desire is to order your story, give meaning to what you live, and show you that nothing, in His hands, is out of place.
