Let us not abandon the tradition of gathering as a church, according to the procedure of some, but, on the contrary, motivate one another. In Christ, the gathering is not merely ritual: it is the body of Christ in action, where faith is strengthened and love is demonstrated. When we are together, we witness the grace that transforms every life and strengthen the faith of the community to face the days with hope.
In practice, this encouragement occurs in worship services, in small groups, in family prayer, and in caring dialogues. Speaking words of encouragement, sustaining one another in pain, celebrating victories, and bearing one another's burdens is to fulfill the deepest expression of love. Motivating one another is not mere presence; it is pointing every gaze to Christ, our sure hope.
For the Day is near, and faithful fellowship protects us from the temptation of isolation. The body of Christ functions in living together and in service: when one suffers, the whole body feels it; when one rejoices, all rejoice. Healthy relationships in the church reveal to the world the transformation the gospel produces in the heart and keep our eyes fixed on the ultimate goal — Jesus, our Lord.
So put this into practice today: invite someone to meet, pray together, share the Word, and practice the hospitality of the kingdom. May every gathering be a step of faith, a source of encouragement, and a preparation for the Day of the Lord. Let us persevere together, knowing that in Christ we receive strength, grace, and abundant life. Remain steadfast in the faith, for it is worth walking in community, for in him we find victory and joy as we serve the Lord.
