Lord Jesus, before You I recognize my dependence on Your truth in the face of all deceit of this world. Psalm 120 reminds us of spiritual vigilance: deliver me from liars and deceivers. May I turn my eyes to You, the Truth that does not fail, and find rest in Your word which is eternal. Help me discern words that sound like wind but do not carry Your life, so that I am not led astray by deception nor by the mere surface of words.
Among the beautiful words that seduce, may I remain steadfast in Your grace. Jesus, You are the clarity that dispels shadows; in You dwells all truth. Teach me to recognize those motivated by self-interest, the empty promises, and the lies that many speak, so that my trust is placed only in Your faithfulness. May my spirit be filled with prudence, guided by Your Word and by Your Spirit, in every conversation and every decision.
Thank You, Jesus, for Your salvation that surrounds me with mercy. May the gratitude that wells up in my heart translate into obedience, holiness, and love for my neighbor. May I live in the practice of honesty, cultivating relationships that honor Your presence. Strengthen me to stand firm when the temptation of deceit appears, remembering that Your truth is food for the soul and that Your grace sustains my steps today and always. Amen, and I continue trusting in Your promise of protection and care.
