Return to the Mercy of Christ: Living the True Good News

I am horrified that you are turning away so quickly from God, who called you to himself through the loving mercy of Christ. You are following a different gospel, which appears to be the Good News, Galatians 1:6. In the midst of our daily life, it is easy to be carried away by easy promises and messages that sound good, but the Word calls us to a continual surrender to Christ, which does not change with the world’s fashions. Let us remember that the true Good News is not only a nice statement, but the revelation of God's love manifested on the cross and risen to offer us abundant and eternal life.

When the noise of the world seeks to divert our steps, the grace of Christ calls us back to His cross, to the simplicity of the gospel that saved us not by our works, but by His mercy. It is not about adjusting the message so it fits our projects, but about allowing the truth of Jesus Christ to transform our imagination, our decisions, and our relationships. Faithfulness to grace implies daily repentance and a life that testifies that Christ is the center, the beginning, and the end of our story.

Today I invite you to examine your walk: are you truly embracing the mercy of Christ or are you maintaining a gospel that sounds good but does not save? The answer will be seen in the practice of faith: in obedience, in the humility of service, in patience amid trials, and in the hope that comes from the Cross. May our hearts return to the truth that liberates, and as we do, may we experience the renewal that only Christ can give with confidence and joy. Stay steadfast in grace and find encouragement to continue loving God and others.
