In Christ, the Word who created the cosmos and calls us to new life

In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. Moses' statement is not merely a historical narration, but the revelation of who God is: Creator, Sovereign, the principle of all. When we contemplate creation, we are invited to recognize the Word that sustains all things: Jesus Christ, through whom all things were made and without whom nothing that has been made was made (John 1; Colossians 1). Human life, therefore, finds its foundation in the authenticity of a relationship with the Creator, not merely in the effort of activities or in the labels we put on our journeys.

Just as creation began with God's ordering — daylight, atmosphere, earth, seas —, our existence is called to be ordered by the good-education of God in Christ: faith that perceives the presence of God, obedience that reflects divine governance, and holiness that points to the difference of God's people. The Bible teaches us that creation is not merely the past, but telos: it will point to the Glory of God and the kingdom of Christ that will be manifested in fullness. Therefore, every choice, every relationship, every vocation should be submitted to the living Word who created the world and reconciles us to God.

I invite you to respond with humility to the grace that reaches us in Jesus. May our daily life — work, family, friendships — be an expression of God's order, where every action is an act of faith, every decision carries prudence, and every moment of waiting is a practice of trust in God's timing. May this remembrance of Genesis 1 lead us to confess: in Jesus, the Creator, we find our identity, purpose, and hope. I encourage you to live today, under the care of the Father, so that the glory of Christ may shine through you in every step.
