God, in his initial word, looks at us and reveals the essence of our dignity: we were made in His image, destined to reflect His glory in every action and decision. This passage does not speak only of origin; it reveals the ongoing vocation of human life: to exercise dominion with wisdom, care, and justice over creation. Being created in the image of God is not a memory of the past; it is a present invitation to live coherently with the dignity God has already given us, so that each day is an opportunity to show who our King is and who our Model is.
