Beloved Children of God: the Hope That Calls Us to Purity

Let us behold with reverence the great love of the Father, who gave us the identity of his children and called us to live from that reality. If we are children, then the world does not know us, because it did not know Him; but our belonging to the divine family redefines our gaze, our priorities, and our daily walks. This identity is not only doctrinal information; it is an invitation to live with a hope that shapes the present: when He appears, we will be like Him, we will see Him as He is, and that vision transforms every decision and every effort of holiness we undertake.

In this hope placed in Him, there is a power that purifies. We cannot remain the same before the presence of a God who is pure; our practical life reveals whether we are anchored in that purity which comes from God's seed. He who remains in Him does not sin; he who sins is in danger of confusing true identity. This passage calls us to examine our habits, to walk in obedience, and to destroy the works of the devil with the clarity of the light that shines in Christ. Grace does not excuse a life of justice, but it drives and sustains every effort to live in accordance with God's calling.

Beloved sons and daughters, let us not fall into deceit. He who practices righteousness is righteous, just as He is righteous; he who practices sin is of the devil, because the devil has sinned from the beginning. The true mark of faith is obedience that transforms, renewal that combats sin, and the certainty that the Son of God appeared to destroy the works of the devil. If we have been born of God, the seed of God remains in us and empowers us to overcome. By that grace, let us advance with hope, with humility, and with the certainty that our identity in Christ enables us to live according to the truth and toward the glorious reality that awaits us.
