No Other Name, No Other Hope

Acts 4:12 draws a clear and beautiful line for our hearts: “There is salvation in no one else.” This is not a harsh or exclusive statement for the sake of exclusion; it is a gracious and clarifying truth meant to steady us.

Peter is not being narrow in a cruel way; he is being specific in a loving way, pointing us away from false hopes and toward the only true Savior. His words are like a signpost, not meant to shame, but to guide our wandering hearts home.

In a world full of many voices, ideas, and so-called paths to peace, God has given one name under heaven by which we must be saved: Jesus. Because of this, we do not need to search endlessly for another source of rescue, forgiveness, or identity.

Christ alone is enough, fully sufficient to save, to forgive, and to embrace all who come to Him in faith and repentance. There is no gap He cannot bridge, no sin He cannot cover, and no heart He cannot welcome when it turns to Him alone.
