Divine Wisdom Over Worldly Wisdom

In today's society, moralism is constantly being challenged and debated. On social media platforms, there are seemingly endless judgments and arguments that often lead nowhere. Amidst this scenario, it's essential to recall Paul's teaching from 1 Corinthians 3:18-19, "Do not deceive yourselves. If any of you think you are wise by the standards of this age, you should become 'fools' so that you may become wise. For the wisdom of this world is foolishness in God's sight. As it is written: 'He catches the wise in their craftiness'."

To be truly wise, we must seek the wisdom of God, not the wisdom as defined by worldly standards. It is not in aligning ourselves with different philosophies, influencers, or individuals, but in aligning our hearts with God where we find wisdom.

Paul reinforces this thought in 1 Corinthians 3:4-5, "For when one says, 'I follow Paul,' and another, 'I follow Apollos,' are you not mere human beings? Who then is Apollos? And who is Paul? Servants through whom you believed, as the Lord has assigned to each his task."

In other words, neither the one who plants nor the one who waters is anything, but only God, who makes things grow (1 Corinthians 3:7). In the grand scheme of things, God is the most vital factor, the source of ultimate wisdom and growth.

May this understanding guide you in your interactions and decisions today. Remember, true wisdom comes not from the world but from God. Let us put God first and let the worldly wisdom be secondary.

May you be filled with the wisdom of God, radiating His light and love to all those around you. I pray that your spirit rests in the comforting and empowering presence of God on this beautiful day.
